Dream Team enters the Hall with Pippen and Malone

The Basketball Hall of Fame ceremonies on Friday in Springfield maaechusetts ahd had two teams that 8 individulas to enshrine into the Hall. The 1960 Olympic team and the 1992 "Dream Team" had some banter between teammates.


Lin perfect fit for Warriors
8/11/10 -- After a fairy tale ride for Bay Area native Jeremy Lin he lands in a perfect NBA home with the Golden State Warriors. This is a win-win. The Lin storyline has already captupulted him into a national media darling. He started to open some NBA eyes in the Vegas NBA summer league game where he outplayed the number one overall draft pick John Wall.


Obama plays fantasy NBA game for birthday
8/9/10 - President Barack Obama used his cachet to coordinate a pick-up hoop game with current and former NBA All-Stars for a nice birthday present to himself. Obama's A-list of hoopers included LaBron James, Dwayne Wade, Magic Johnson, and Bill Russell who played a game to honor wounded soldiers and White House mentoring program participants to help motivate teenagers to aspire to greatness.


Go Pro: Nets hire new Assistant GM Bobby Marks
7/27/10 -- Bobby Marks, New Jersey Nets new assistant GM started as a public relations intern 15 years ago. Now at 37 he is the longest tenured in the department. After four years as Vice President of Basketball Operation, Billy King the Nets General Manager promoted Marks.


Ellison loses bid to own Warriors
Oakland, Calif. 7/15/10 - Larry Ellison the sixth richest man in the world was supposed to be signing the title to the Golden State Warriors franchise today, the media was set on the announcement. But what a difference a day makes. The winners of the Warriors ownership is not the silicon valley mogul with a penchant for consuming opposition.

7/12/10 - The HoopU Skills Camp at Bentley High School served youth for the East Bay community and taught them skills for life.




Library: Finish Strong its the 4th quarter
5/24/10 - Its another year of school that cuncludes shortly. Maybe people have there mind on the summer, thinking that school is already over. However this is the 4th quarter. You are also playing to improve for the future.

5/20/10 -I'm hungry!, is echoed from the children across the nation. It is especially poingnant when these growing children are very active. Children playing multiple sports, always on the move needing energy and food. What tends to happen is that we get our children the quick fix.
